The project.
Our clients in this case have been operating holiday apartments in the Baltic seaside resort of Kühlungsborn for several years. The apartments are located on their family property. The clients came to us with the idea of combining their existing holiday apartments with a new hotel, to be built on a neighbouring piece of land. Based on our analysis, we recommended that they create a family-oriented product for guests travelling alone or in a large family – the types of guests who tend to like to self-cater, but who also appreciate the services and gastronomic offers of a hotel.
Holidays in a relaxed environment, fair prices, closeness to nature, ecological and energy-efficient construction methods and operational procedures, authentic connections with the surrounding environment and its inhabitants. The objective: to enable the clients to cater to the needs and wants of the “new family” and to run their business as cost-effectively as possible.
